No less that five people have been "truly" harmed during a blast at a shopping center in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital, on Wednesday June 12th.
Nnamdi Omoni, representative of Rivers state police command , affirmed the occurrence saying the reason for the blast which happened at the bakery zone of the shopping center is yet to be found out.
Firemen were said to have arrived the scene not long after certain laborers put out the flame. The shopping center is situated at Old GRA region of Port Harcourt, which is minutes away from the State Government gate.
Omoni said those harmed are as of now accepting treatment at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH), including that the police have initiated full examination concerning the occurence.
