Mr Eazi opens up on how he met his girlfriend, Temi Otedola

Mr Eazi opens up on how he met his girlfriend, Temi Otedola while also clarifying that DJ Cuppy didn’t introduced him to her.
In an interview posted on Tunde Ednut’s Instagram page, the singer said he met Temi when her sister, DJ Cuppy, who is his friend invited him for one of her numerous events in London, United Kingdom.
He further said they were left at the same table and got talking after DJ Cuppy left the table for the stage to perform.
He said, “I met Temi in London. It was an event, her sister invited me for an event. Her sister was playing at the event, somewhere in Nightbridge and she said, oh come out come out, follow me to this event, so I followed her to the event and then she was deejaying and all of a sudden it was just me and Temi sitting down and just watching her.”
However, Eazi said the celebrity disc jockey didn’t, at any point, formally introduce Temi as her sister or him as a friend.
“Not really, she didn’t like meet my sister, you know, she invited her sister, she invited me. And by the time her sister came, she was already playing, so her sister came to the table and it was me and her. So, obviously, you have to socialise, so I said, Hi what’s up, my name is Mr Eazi.”

Biafra: Nnamdi kanu Explodes In January 19 Broadcast (Audio)

Biafra: Nnamdi kanu Explodes In January 19 Broadcast (Audio)

Biafra: Nnamdi kanu Explodes In January 19 Broadcast (Audio)
The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has reechoed his earlier stance that he and members of his secessionist group will boycott the general elections in Nigeria.
Kanu, who made this comment on Saturday evening during a live broadcast or radio Biafra, reiterated that members of his group and all “Biafrans” will boycott next month’s general elections in “Biafraland” except their demands are met by the Federal Government.
This online news medium understands that Kanu, who is based in Israel, is demanding for a referedum as a bargain for voting in the forthcoming elections.
Naija News reports that Kanu’s statement is coming a few days after he said members of his group will participate in the forthcoming governorship elections in Abia and Ebonyi state.
Kanu who made this comment during a live interactive broadcast on radio Biafra last week Saturday which was monitored by Naija News said this became imperative in order to vote out Ikpeazu and Umahi whom he described as “enemies of Biafra“.
Giving reasons for his decision on the participation of his group in the forthcoming election, Kanu had said: “Because we said we are not going to vote doesn’t mean we can’t mobilise to have you voted out. That’s what will happen in Abia and Ebonyi. Perhaps if we keep quiet all the time, they’ll think, since they’re not going to vote does it really matter?
“But we have a very special programme for Abia and Ebonyi. They’ll find it difficult. The day people will realise the damage people like Umahi are doing to our people, they will understand why we must get rid of them in the corridors of power,” the IPOB leader had added.
Naija News reports that Kanu is leading a group seeking secession from Nigeria. The group has since been proscribed by the Nigerian government.

I will end ASUU strike in Nigeria-Moghalu

I will end ASUU strike in Nigeria-Moghalu

The presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP, Kingsley Moghalu said if he is elected as president he will put an end to persistent strike by Nigerian university lecturers.
“I will end ASUU strike in Nigeria,” Moghalu stated this during the 2019 presidential candidate debate held at Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
“Every young man or woman must know how to run a business. We will invest in our how children learn,” he added.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU)industrial strike has become recurrent over the years. The strike actions are usually as a result of the federal government not responding to lecturers demands at the time they ask for it.
The union’s first strike action since Nigeria returned to democracy was in 1999 under the former president Olusegun Obasanjo, and it lasted five months before it was called off.
In 2001, ASUU embarked on another strike action that lasted three months. The lecturers also embarked on strike in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2017 and the latest which started on 4th November 2018 is still ongoing.
The recent strike started following the demands of the lecturer union for the implementation of previous agreements with the government for improved funding of universities.
Three months after, the Nigerian government has failed to reach to meet the demands.
Recently the minister of labour, Chis Ngige said the accountant general and the ministry of finance have confirmed with evidence that N15.4 billion had been released to public universities.
Ngige also said President Muhammadu Buhari has approved N20 billion to be used to offset the outstanding arrears of the 2009 to 2012 verified earnings in the universities.
He said the earned allowances will be released to ASUU as soon as the process is completed.
However, the president of the union Biodun Ogunyemi has described the government’s offer on the outstanding revitalization fund of N1.1 trillion as tokenism, said members insisted that government should release at least a tranche of N220 billion spread over four quarters of 2019.
He affirmed that on earned allowances, government’s proposal should not be lesser than the total amount released “the last time” out of the verified balance.

Mr. Eazi Reveals Why He Doesn't Own A Car

Mr. Eazi Reveals Why He Doesn't Own A Car

Nigerian music star, Mr Eazi who revealed why he doesn’t own a car in a new interview has also disclosed that he was once offered an N80m deal in UK but he turned it down.
According to the “Surrender” singer, he never had up to N300,000 in his account at the time he turned down the N80m deal in UK. He further stated that if one’s self-esteem is based on how much he or she has in the bank account, then such a person has a serious self-esteem issue.
“If your self-esteem is based on how much you have in your bank account, then you have a serious self-esteem issue. Right from when I sang my very first song, someone offered me N80m record deal but I turned it down and at the time, I did not have N300,000 in my account.
“My first record deal offer from the UK was £356,000, I turned it down but at the time, I had done a tour and the total amount I earned was £12,500. I used the money to shoot the videos of some of my songs. I was left with £20; they were offering me £365,000, but I turned it down. The reason I did that wasbecause my value was not dependent on what was in my account.
“Till today, I use Uber but I do not care and by the way, I don’t even pay for the ride because I was given Uber credit. But if you see me in the Uber vehicle and feel that Mr Eazi is poor, what is my business (with that)? For instance, everybody around me has cars, and besides, I buy cars for people. If it makes sense for me to use an Uber, why should I drive? Why would I pay about N100m for a car that I would probably drive just five times a year?
“There are better things to do with that money. In the short time I have spent on earth, I have made a lot of money. While I was into mining, I had so much money that I was living at a place that was a stone’s throw away from the airport in Accra and I was paying my rent in dollars.
“I was making a lot of money. That shows you how expensive it was but I went from there to squatting with my friend in a one-room apartment. I was sleeping on the floor in his room. Also, when I was doing the business of selling beverages, we started with a crate and in a short while, we began to import four containers every two weeks. From importing four containers every two weeks, we went back to nothing. In my life, I have had ups and down. If my self-worth was based on material things, I would have killed myself.”
On the backlash he has faced so far for dating Otedola’s daughter, Temi, Mr Eazi said;
“People can say what they want to say and if you want to let everything they say about you bother you, then you are not going to live, especially when you are in the public eye.
“You have to realise that as an entertainer, your life becomes a form of entertainment to others. I really do not care about what anybody thinks. He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world, so why care about what the world is saying?”
The singer has been enjoying massive airplay since the release of “Lagos to London” album and is considered one of the most successful Nigerian musicians at the moment.
